Product Solutions
Companies are constantly striving to cut
costs and at the same time improve service
to their customers. With the EZ-DB solutions for IBM
DB2 or CA-IDMS, we can provide tools to enable you
to meet these demands.
EZ-DB2 for IBM DB2
- This set of workload centric tools, allow you to analyze your
live workload, or to simulate a workload that may be currently
in development. EZ-Tracer
allows you to see what is causing the real costs
within your environment (even dynamic SQL from Distributed Applications)
and focus on tuning those specific areas. Detailed reporting right
down to the individual SQL statements being executed is shown.
SQL is consolidated and loaded into
EZ-SQL Warehouse
from where you can identify poor SQL statements using
EZ-Alerts!
Once you have analyzed your specific
workload, you can use the
EZ-Impact Analyzer component to see
what impact different machines, environments, and even a different
DB2 version or maintenance would have. The
EZ-Index
Analyzer and XOP
Index Optimization components can
analyze your SQL predicates and how well your current indexes
meet the predicates requirements, or build the optimal set of
user indexes for your workload.
EZ-DB for CA-IDMS
- This set of tools, gives the user almost true 24x7 update availability
of their databases. Even when performing backups, reorganizations
or restructures. No longer do you have to shedule windows in your
overnight batch for backups, or work the weekend to do a restructure.
We can also help cut down your DASD requirements for multiple
test databases, and speed up your sequential processing jobs!
Developer Toolset
for CA-IDMS - This set of tools gives
a diverse range of products to help the CA-IDMS developer. From
drawing and viewing Bachman diagrams, editing dictionary entities
with an ISPF type editor, providing ADS applications with online
help, sort tools, to an ADS compile time process editor.
DARSTRAN -
Provides CA-IDMS to Relational Replication. It enables data replication
from CA-IDMS mainframe databases to relational databases such
as Oracle, DB2/UDB or Microsoft SQL/Server that run on IBM mainframe,
UNIX, AIX, Linux or Microsoft Windows NT/2000 Server Operating
Systems and their related hardware platforms.
